I just got an SMS message of Love and reassurance from taxlady that she's arrived safe and sound. My day just got a little brighter.

My apologies for rudely barging in while you're rudely barging in ;-)

But it's a good point you're making there. Good friends have (though it's taken them many years) managed to make me realise that our lives very much are what we, ourselves, make of them. Not what other people do to us.

And though help can be very, erm, helpful you're right that it's never too late to fix life.
