I'm still far too upset to write about or talk about it much right now, but now enough people have been told both IRL and on LJ that I don't think I need to keep quiet about it anymore.

Last friday night denizsarikaya, one of my very best friends died. I have no words to express the grief I'm feeling. Maybe later I'll be able to write about what she meant to me.

For now, I have to get dressed and go to work, and I don't know how I'll manage. The alternative though is to say at home and stare at the walls and cry some more, and I don't think I could handle that either.

Good bye Denzo. How I miss you.

Yes, she touched many many people. I wish I would have known her more than I did. I have NO idea how Niti is going to be today, I am so sad for everyone and it is going to be such a hard day for many.

I only met Deniz twice, but both times were significant. She had Thanksgiving dinner over at our place in Cote-des-Neiges once and then there as the Meetup last fall. Steve and I both wished we had gotten to know her better, but she really was very busy so I'm fortunate I got to spend that much time with her.
