Woot! Gainful Employment!
Jan. 25th, 2005 10:58 amSo, I haven't signed the contract yet (that's tomorrow), but I told the man I would take the job and we shook on it! So, starting Monday I am an employee of TerraScale. Work should vary from the mundane to the very interesting, as some of their clients will need work done on supercomputer clusters. Ha! Some of them have REAL bandwidth. I'm talking upwards of 45 Gbps links!
Still, I won't be doing anything quite that exciting for a bit. At first I'll be working on some sort of automated license server application using strong encryption. I'll pick up a bunch of documenation tomorrow, and find out about the requirements on Monday, no doubt.
Now though, I am off to bed so that I can catch a couple more hours of sleep. Otherwise, I'll never make it to the LJ meetup tonight, and I really don't want to miss it.
So, G'Nap all!
