Domestic Bliss

taxlady has been up for hours and cooking. So now the whole house has the aroma of -- badly burned chicken stock. She seems to be on the phone to a client, so I'll have to wait to get the story of what happened, but there is a pot in the sink full of blackened lumps of something and the whole house has a rather unpleasant smell right now.
I think I will hide in my office with the window open and drink my coffee while the smell dissipates. Since I am re-staritng induduction today, I suppose filling the house with unapetizing smells is not the worst that could happen...
