We have a new Hot Water Heater!

The guys didn't show up to replace the heater until nearly 4:00 pm, when they had said they would be here between 12:00 and 3:00. Anyway, they very quickly drained and removed the old tank and put a new one in. It probably took them less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Luckily they seemed to think that everything was up to code, since they didn't have to make any changes that I would have to be charged for (*sigh of releif*)

So now I have a lovely new hot water tank and its currently working away to heat up some water. According to the guy, I should have a full tank by 6:30. At 6:30:01, I'm getting into that shower for a much needed hot hot dousing. I am so pleased!

I HAVE A HOT-WATER HEATER!!!

I had thought so too, but I noticed a couple of weeks ago that its working again. Maybe some people liked it? If so, it should probably have a button to disable it.

Apparently they are some website where they use it extensively (where is my webmaster whip), and for compatibility reasons, they had to restore it. At least this is what I can deduct from bugzilla.
