XeroCoat: Permanent Antifogging, Antiscratch Coating.

Scientists in Australia have created a new way to process glass in mirrors, windows and other surfaces so that it is highly resistant to scratching or fogging. They call the new technology XeroCoat. Sounds quite useful to me, especially as its supposedly dirt cheap to do.

My grandfolks on my fathers side used to live there, until they passed away. I still have an aunt and several gazillion cousins living out there. Last time I was there I spent 2 weeks just visiting relatives, most of whom I couldn't figure out what the relationship was. (A cousin called Nora introduced my parents to all of these folks - I was probably about 15 at the time.)

As for the anti-fog mirrors, yes they exist, but the coatings aren't scratch proof and tend to wear off.

I remember you saying you had some family ties here in Australia. That's nice to have relatives in another country, it gives you that extra opportunity to travel and learn about a different culture.

If you don't mind me asking, which part of Australia are they located?

My grandparents lived in Adelaide, which is the only part of Australia I know at all well. I've lost track of my Aunt (she never answers email), and my cousins are scattered throughout NSW and Queensland, and maybe further.
