I didn't do much today, except perhaps recover from the party. I somehow managed to sprain my back while at the party and by the time I got home last night it was in agony.

Today its been a bit stiff and sore, but nothing major. Hopefully it will be fully recovered by the morrow.

So, today I took it easy, watched some of the Voyager marathon and worked on my SF game universe. I guess you could say today was a good day for just vegging.

Oh, and as a BTW, I seem to have fixed one of our two VCR's that went wonky. It turned out that there were multiple problems, all simple to solve, but that the combination had me pulling my hair out two months ago when it died. So, maybe I should have a look at the other VCR sometime.

Sore back?

That will teach you to do the limbo at those wild pant-less parties without proper stretching.

If there were less pants than expected at this party, and you
"somehow" managed to sprain your back at it, all *sorts* of
wild imaginings are going through my guileless mind...

What SF game universe?

Ever since a fellow roleplayer introduced me to the concept of actually playing your character instead of just rolling dice I've become very interested in stuff like in-depth character creation... and lately also game world creation. There's lots of fun to be had when inventing gods, nations, cities and so on. Kind of makes you feel all powerful, doesn't it? ;-)

Well, I for one am glad to see that you have done it correctly - worked on the ideas, and concepts, before limiting this to a specific game mechanics. Too often have I seen good ideas squashed by mechanics, and exploits cloaked as valid concepts. I've always enjoyed the SF campaigns you've run - even when we went awry.
And you know, there is a market for game supplement writers. Somewhere. Out there.
