Awake and Anivesrarizing...

Well, I'm awake now and drinking coffee. My days have been slipping further and further towards waking up in the afternoon/evening, but considering how humid its been in my office mid-day this last week, I haven't felt inclined to do anything about it. Today, though, its quite nice in here. Go figure.

On other news today is taxlady and my 8th anniversary. We were planning to be on our little getaway by now, but we've been too busy to make plans for a vacation! Still, we are planning to head off for a few days in the not-so-distant future. We just need to sit down and do some planning.

So, we ain't got a big celebration or anything planned for right now, other than a glass of wine maybe. What counts though is that we're still together and still in love.

Happy 8th anniversary to you and taxlady! Is that 8 years of marriage or 8 years of the relationship?

I will be celebrating my 5 year (relationship) anniversary with Glen on August 1st! It feels like just yesterday we fell in love.

Actually, taxlady tells me that its only 7 years of marriage. I did the math wrong. I actually met my SO in 1982, I think it was, and I was instantly smitten. She was gorgeous, intelligent, witty and everything that I was looking for in a woman, except single. She was married to a coworker at the time. Years later she got a divorce and went through some bad times. I started visiting to try and cheer her up and we ended up falling in love and getting married. So far, its been a wonderful relationship.
