Its Today.

Just dragged myself out of bed, so I'm still rather fuzzy around the edges.  Yesterday I couldn't concentrate to do any computer work, so I took care of a bunch of chores around the house that I've been putting off for ages. So, at least I got something done.

Not much else to say except that I've been attacked by mosquitos and now itch all over. All my life mosquitos have preferred to attack me to attacking anyone else in my vicinity. taxlady says she was always the same way, but now when we go for a walk she doesn't get bitten and I do. The last few years have been pretty good, with me only getting one or two bites in a year. I guess this year's dampness has really been good for the bloodsuckers, because I now have a dozen itching welts on various parts of my body. Bleah!

I'll trade you mosquito-attracting-biochemistry's any day! Being swarmed by bloodsuckers is NOT a priviledge!

I don't buy it. I come from hearty nordic stock and I sleep with the window open all year round, but the little-four-motors (as the french sometimes call them) love to snack on me!

Most of my ancestry came from the pleasantly warm but mosquito-rich Steppes, but have just enough Nordic blood to let me play outside at any time of year. My grandparents chose their mates well for this part of the world!
