Right now I'm fighting a wicked urge to walk the 2 blocks to the 24-hour restaurant and have some cheese cake and coffee.

It looks like I gave in to my urges. I've just come back from eating yummy cheesecake. Its not great for my diet, but it did help my mood. And now, on to some technical reading I've been putting off.

I just looked up the definition of "otiose" online, and discovered that one of its meanings is "faineant".
