Yes, I am still awake. No, this wasn't the plan.

The Oh-My-God Particle.

According to Wikipedia, in 1991 scientists detected a proton that had somehow been accellerated to the point that it had the energy of a baseball moving at 27MPH. Since then there have been another 15 sightings of these hard-to-explain particles.

Time to try again.

I'm going to go and see if I can fall asleep now. Hopefully this time it will work. I might try reading up more on n-dimensional manifolds first but a) it didn't work last time, and b) I'm not sure I won't just keep reading the same words over and over and over.

Awake.

I would have liked to sleep more than the roughly 8 hours I got, but my body had other ideas. There's so much stuff going on in my head that when I woke up to go to the bathroom, the commotion wouldn't let me get back to sleep.

So, I guess I'm awake again.
