Reality Sucks.

LJ has been randomly logging me out all day long. As a result I've posted a number of anon comments in peoples blogs. GRUMPH!

I shall now attempt (again) to go get some sleep. I think I shall read some of Penrose's "The Road to Reality". I'm trying to be optimistic and tell myself that he does know what he's talking about when it comes to physics and cosmology, but "The Emporer's New Mind" has left just a bad taste in my brain that I've been reluctant to read anything else by the man, lest it be similarly inane.

Anyway, I supose we shall see.

Whoa! I slept!

Unintentionally slept for 12 hours last night. For some reason although I've been getting 8, 9, or 10 hours every night lately, I've been spending my days feeling very sleepy. I had only planned to sleep 8 hours last night, since I was thinking of going into town today, and because I need to be up at 5:00 am tomorrow.

Instead, I slept in until 2:00.  Bleaargh!
