Fooding.

Sometime today my appetite came back and since no desire for food was the last symptom of my illness, I'm hoping that I can now declare myself officially well. If I wake up tomorrow and nothing's changed, I shall so proclaim it. And about bloody time too!

Awake with one eye open, clutching the pillow tight.

I seem to be awake. I've been averaging around 12 hours sleep a night the last few nights. I guess I've got some catching up to do. In other news, I just gave myself goosebumps by holding my steaming mug of coffee in both hands and inhaling the fragrant steam for a minute or two. So, now my sinuses are awake, even if the rest of me isn't.

Lazy Eye curable by ... video games?

Since I have a form of amblyopia (although not, I fear the type curable by this method), the invention of a video game that can correct the condition comes as a pleasant, and unexpected, surprise.

Drug News.

It seems that Ambien may cause a sleep-eating disorder where folks go on munch-a-thon's while fast asleep. Some folks have reportedly eaten raw bacon or buttered cigarettes in this state.
