Oorgh.

Just crawled out of bed. Still not feeling well at all. The blinding headache is now down to a constant throb, so I guess that's something. Its definitely a head cold, as my only symptoms are sinuses run amok, blinding headaches and stupefaction. Don't expect anything coherent, or even readable, from me the next few days.

That, BTW, is why there was no willcodeforfood column yesterday, and why there will most likely not be a technaut on monday. I shall resume the columns once I'm sure what I'm writing will be readable again.

The "Advantage" of being Ill.

Not that I really consider it an advantage, mind you. When I'm sick I ignore my diet. I don't have much appetite when ill anyway, so I don't really see the point of restricting what kinds of food I eat. Most of my comfort foods are high-carb, and comfort is what I need most right now.
Besides, even when I was eating whatever I wanted, I always lost weight when ill, so its not like dieting is all that necessary at this point.
