A Man Barely Awake.
Mar. 17th, 2006 01:52 pmI'm still sick, with the nonstop headache, but I had to get out of bed because
taxlady has to go visit a client, and we're expecting a delivery of some office supplies. We go through enough paper during tax season that we often get a bale1 or two delivered.
Anyway, the loverly lady brought me hot coffee and AC&C in bed, and let
shreddy in to the bedroom to help me wake up. We played a rousing game of 'toe pounce' while I was sipping my coffee. If one MUST wake up and get out of bed, that's a very pleasant way to do so.
1 A bale is 10 reams, where each ream is 20 quires of paper. (The paper is actually delivered in 1-bale boxes, each of which holds 10 1-ream packages, although these units are mentioned nowhere on the packaging.) I just love these crufty old units for their baroqueness, but give me metric for practicality any day.
