I had planned to go to bed many hours ago, but somehow I ended up working on the novel instead. I wrote almost 4000 words today, so I'm now only about 500 words behind where I was supposed to be by today. The gap is defiitely narrowing.

I'm almost finished the current chapter, which is good, since the hero is still resolutely dead and that tends to put a damper on the amount of action there can be, especially in erotica.

What does every artistic geek need? A customizable world-conquest map! Man, if I were rich I would be so tempted to buy a dozen of these and have a contest to see who could produce the best plan of world conquest...

Yay me!

So, I've got my websites all... webbing again. Linux would be a much nicer OS if it acknowledged that it routinely requires folks to install multiple versions of libraries and applications and somehow made it convenient to state which ones to use for which applications. I now have both a threaded and a non-threaded version of perl 5.8.7 installed and none of the multifarious tools I use are willing to make the distinction.
