Awake.

Awake, but not feeling well. Since I got up a few minutes ago, I've had two intense bouts of vertigo, and two minor ones. I don't know whats going on, but I don't like it.

Laws of Identity.

Somewhat surprising, considering its source, here is a .pdf discussing the Seven Laws of Digital Identity. In essense, it gives the desiderata for a universal internet identity scheme. For the most part, I'm pleased to say that I agree with it.

Money!

I've been meaning to mention: I got a surprise check in the mail a couple of days ago. It seems that TorCon3, the 2003 World Science Fiction convention showed sufficient profit that they refunded my entrance fee and some of my expenses attending the thing!  They had always said that was a possibility, but I had somehow never really believed it.

Its not like I got back a lot of money, but "Every bit helps," as the old lady said when she peed in the ocean.

Still sick.

Mainly what I have at the moment seems to be dizzy spells and nausea, but I've had a couple of coughing fits and a few hot flashes, so I think I've come down with something. I'll make arrangements to try and see a doctor tomorrow.
