My Day.

The day started out fairly lame as it turned out that most of the books I went into town to look at (at Concordia U.) were either out, or worthless.

It got MUCH better when I went to visit thebabynancy. Several hours of stimulating conversation followed. Must repeat at frequent intervals!

Say it isn't so!

I could have sworn that I just heard a TV ad for some starwars merchandise that mentioned the character "Darth Pendulous"!

Awake (Again).

So, its (vaguely) morning and I am now (sort-of) awake and (very definitely) drinking coffee and (virtually) reading the comics.

I guess next on the agenda after all that is to have a shower, pack and overnight bag, eat breakfast, and wait for taxlady to return with the car. Theoretically, she could get here as soon as 13h00, but 15h00 is far more likely, so its not like I'm in a major rush or anything, so I plan to do all that in a rather leisurely manner.

I find I'm looking forward to doing this little road trip. Had I still been working it would probably have been stretched by a day or so, and done on the upcoming long weekend, but this will do for now.
