Domestic Bliss

I have just gotten up, and it appears that taxlady has been up for hours and cooking. So now the whole house has the aroma of -- badly burned chicken stock. She seems to be on the phone to a client, so I'll have to wait to get the story of what happened, but there is a pot in the sink full of blackened lumps of something and the whole house has a rather unpleasant smell right now.

I think I will hide in my office with the window open and drink my coffee while the smell dissipates. Since I am re-staritng induduction today, I suppose filling the house with unapetizing smells is not the worst that could happen...

Inductivity.

Well, I restarted Atkins today and so far, so not so bad. I've only consumed 16 of my 20 allotted carbs for the day, which means I can have a 4-carb snack if I want. I think a great help has been the fact that we have Camenbert in the house, and a whole wheel of that stuff isn't even one carb, so I can pretty much scarf some whenever I get the munchies, and I don't even have to count it.
