ISP Buy-out.
Dec. 23rd, 2004 12:51 pmHmmm. I just woke up to find a message in my in-basket from my ISP. I originally signed up with DSL.ca a couple of years ago. Shortly thereafter they were bought out by wiznet.ca, and the transition was a bit rough, but they quickly became competant at what they were doing. Now though, they have just been bought out by magma.ca, which is already a part of Primus, and I don't know what that will lead to.
My current ISP has no bandwidth caps, has no policies against running a network, and allows you to run servers. I certainly hope none of that changes.
