Call me slow.

I've known for some time that my birthday was approaching. Its only two weeks away now. I've noticed its approach since taxlady says I can have pizza on my Birthday, and its the one thing that I really miss while I'm on Atkins.

I've also known in a vague way that I would turn 40 sometime this year. Now, call me slow, but its only just now occurred to me that that will happen on my birthday. In 2 weeks. Hmmm.

I don't really know how I feel about that. I don't feel terrified or upset or anything, but it does seem like a large number. Maybe that means I need to order an extra large pizza?  Yeah, I like that. I think the patented Sti form of a midlife crisis is to get a REALLY BIG pizza, with all the trimmings!

Didn't manage to fall asleep until almost 7:00 am, and dragged myself out of bed half-an-hour ago. So much for being able to get some stuff done in the morning before heading out to meet nancyrihakova for gaming. As is, I suspect I'll just barely have woken up by 4:00 pm, when I need to head out the door.
