Great Bad Ideas Dept.

So, sometimes one gets the urge to deface Wikipedia so that it would be somewhat more, amusing to read. There's two problems with that idea though. Firstly, its irresponsible and immature, and secondly it won't work because the editors will just undo what you did.

So, what we need is a Wackypedia who's editorial bent is the promotion of HUMOROUS entries. It might even take off.

I had a good time today over at [Bad username or unknown identity: Diva's House of Pain] today. I played Catan with _sps_ and nancyrihakova and I almost won. _sps_ managed to beat me by the narrowest of margins (we both had all that we needed to win, but his turn came before mine). Afterwards, there wasn't really enough time for a second game, so we watched two episodes of Blackadder, from the second and (IMHO) funniest season.

I left there in a very good mood, and managed to get home by 2:00 am. I took out the trash, did the dishes (via the magic of the washemupatron) and made myself a snack. Then I caught up on LJ.

That brings me to now. I WAS going to try and do some writing at this point, but I find that I'm feeling quite sleepy. So, instead I'll go to bed. If I can fall asleeep, I'll do that. If not, I'll rotate my hours: I'll stay up until I can't stay awake, and crash without setting my alarm. If that happens I'll hopefully sleep for 12 hours, and wake up Thursday evening sometime. I'll then stay up extra long again, so I end up waking around 4:00 - 6:00 am on Saturday. Hopefully, during the periods of wakefulness, I'll also get some writing done.

If its morning, why is it dark?

I woke up from a long and sound sleep just over an hour ago. Haven't posted before though, since my DSL line is acting up. I'm pretty sure the problem is at the ISP end, and if it doesn't clear itself up in the next hour or so, I'll have to phone tech support and ask them to kick the server at their end.
