I just friended a bunch of folks that [livejournal.com profile] taxlady and I met and chatted with at a recent Halloween party at [livejournal.com profile] baronscartop's place.

I had a great time, and thought I would friend those that I chatted with (and are on LJ), but I realize that I'm not all too sure who those folks were. I figured it was easier to just friend them all, and let things sort themselves out however they may.

I'm not into LJ Drama, so you need not feel obliged to friend me in return -- and there is no guarantee I'll keep you friended, as we may just not have anything in common. Time will tell.

Oh, for those who don't remember ME, I was the non-[livejournal.com profile] miseri fellow who didn't have a costume, and my wife, [livejournal.com profile] taxlady was wearing a witch's hat and spider and dragon earrings.

So, anyway hello to (in no particular order):
[livejournal.com profile] sarahcarotte, [livejournal.com profile] jdhobbes, [livejournal.com profile] luvenditti, [livejournal.com profile] owldaughter, [livejournal.com profile] toughlovemuse, [livejournal.com profile] talyesin, [livejournal.com profile] ipanicked and [livejournal.com profile] gmarc.

I'm getting sleeeepy, and I haven't really had a good night's sleep for a while, so I'm thinking of trying to pack it in early. Hopefully I won't end up tossing and turning until 5:00 am like I did yesterday.

Didn't get a heck of a lot done today. Mostly it was a trip to get rid of an old monitor at a computer recycler and a (failed) attempt to get rid of an old rusty 1/3-full propane tank I've had mouldering in my basement since... Oh 1995 or so. Canadian Tire had said on the phone that they take old propane tanks for disposal, but when we got there it turned out that, in fact, they did no such thing. Bleah.

We also did a quick shop for some food, and picked up new winter wiper blades for the car.  Other than that, I just spent an hour or so sorting files on my hard disk so that they can be burned to CD, so that I may eventually have enough free disk space to make a backup.
