ISP Woes.

Sometime during supper my ISP stopped talking to me. Now, I have an always-on DSL connection, and that is NOT supposed to happen. Do to a comedy of errors revolving around the fact that its hard to talk to tech support when your wife needs the phone line to use an old modem to get important email, I have not managed to resolve the problem before my brain gave out. Not that I had only 5:00 hours sleep last night and so I had fully intended to be in bed two hours ago. Anyway, I shall fix that forthwith, and if I don't post much for the next day or so, assume I'm still having ISP problems.

Waking up.

I'm awake now, but the ISP still isn't up. The problem is that, what with taxlady needing the computer, and various time critical things I have to do, I'm not sure when I'm going to get a chance to talk to anyone at tech support. It certainly doesn't look like its going to clear itself up at this point.

ISP is back.

As _sps_ noted in his log, my ISP has got things working again, and so the server is once again serving the pictures. Its funny, I've never yet talked to Tech Support at Wiznet.ca.  When something goes wrong I phone them and leave a voice message with my phone # and IP # and what's wrong. Then usually within 20 minutes or half-an-hour, it just gets fixed.

Same thing happened today.

In other other news, I've now given away an 95% working air-conditioner. Now, I just need a taker for my 95% working scanner...
