Crazy Friends.

I don't much hold with the concept of being 'Normal', but some of my friends are clearly crazy. Below is a recent Gazette photo of my friend 'mouse', and yes, he does always dress like that...



He says that any discomfort he puts up with is more than compensated for by the joy of messing with the minds of the mundane crowd...

I'm awake again, although a bit late..  Anyway, the sink blasting last night didn't work. I'm going to go give it another try now. Wish me luck!

Websites and Job Openings.

So, it looks like its been a pretty good day so far. It started with denizsarikaya pointing me towards an interesting job with what appears to be an interesting crew. I think I could actually enjoy working there, as opposed to just enduring it. Even if I don't get the job it gives me the warm fuzzies to know my friends are looking out for me! :-D

In other news, as _sps_ reported in his journal, I found an old website of his that we had both forgotten existed. It contains a preliminary version of the pooq website that I've been working to replace. I had begun to think that the files from that website were gone for good. Now it looks like I can leapfrog my self-imposed deadline of next Sunday, by installing the old website on my system and calling that a first pass. That way I can start mailing out job proposals as soon as the current DNS records are updated.

Meanwhile, I can work on the automation for the new version of the website without the feeling of EI-running-out doom that has been haunting me lately!
