Atkins Schmatkins!
Jun. 3rd, 2004 06:14 pmJust venting a bit here. So far I haven't had any of the weird cravings that can accompany the first week of induction, but two days ago my brains went away, and they haven't come back. I should have guessed this would happen. One of the major reasons I've never liked sports is that I don't like being stupid, and I long ago noticed that after any vigorous sport I would walk around in a fog, unable to think. Its also happened to me more than once DURING a game. Well, now that I've about depleted my body's glucose store, I'm in a permanent state of "Duh".
It seriously feels like I'm trying to think through a thick cloying fog. Oh well, with any luck my body should kick over into ketosis by tomorrow or the next day, and I'll be able to think again. At least that's the theory. Lets hope it holds up in practice. In the meantime don't expect me to be a brilliant conversationist, or to remember to put the lid back on the mustard.
