More Good News!
Apr. 4th, 2004 11:42 pmHeh, just got some more good news. I weighed myself, and the scale actually told me my weight. When I bought my electronic scale 15+ years ago, it was because my old mechanical bathroom scale only went up to 220 Lbs (my weight is one of the few numbers I only know in Imperial, not metric, since I've never seen a metric bathroom scale for sale here). Anyway, at the time I bought the new scale, I was at 270 Lbs, at it was rated to go as high as 300.
A few years ago I discovered I weighed 315 and the scale was still registering it. Sometime later all it would do is flash an error message. I don't know at what weight I peaked at, but I've been slowly losing weight ever since I lost my job (I don't eat as much when I don't have to eat on someone else's schedule). Today, the scale claimed I was 324. That's not good, but lately I've been worried that I would need to buy a new scale so that I could monitor my weight loss when I go on Atkins. Suddenly, I won't have to. This is a good thing.
