Is there such a thing as a Video Editor for linux with the following features?
  1. Can handle audio, video and subtitles.
  2. Doesn't assume a single stream of any of the above.
  3. Can perform lossless editing by working on a keyframe basis
  4. Understands Matroska video containers.
I have a video with ~1 minute of noise (test image and tone) at the start. I need to cut off that 1 minute without desyncing the various audio and subtitle streams that are also in the video.

The one time I tried to do any video editing, I used avidemux. I dunno if it handles all of those. I'm pretty sure it does 2 and 4. I'm not sure if it does subtitles. I don't know what 3 means, so I'm no help there.

That's odd, because I thought the first thing I did with it was to add a second audio track. Maybe I'm remembering wrong and I used a different tool for that.
