Scientists have recently discovered that consensual spanking can help bring couples together. I'm just wondering what the grant proposal for the study looked like.

Considering how much of this activity is misunderstood and considered to be ev0l, crazy, so baaaaaad by not only much of the population but also police forces in many jurisdictions, I could see the intent to make it more difficult to charge/prosecute consenting adults of causing bodily harm. Sorta, kinda like a 21st century version of removing homosexuality from the American Psychiatric Association's definitions of illness.

Yeah, I sometimes forget how enlightened Canada (or at least this half of it) is in relation to much of the rest of the world.

Oh ... and that it's not simply an example of Stockholm Syndrome, if there appears to be consent.
