I may be on the mend. My sinuses calmed down yesterday and I've been doing very little but sleep since then, because I could. So, now I've just woken up at 5:00 pm. I'm not exactly well, but I feel far more normal than I have for days. I hoping that this is a sign that I'll be okay soon. Especially since taxlady is now showing symptoms of my cold.

Cold? What you've been describing sounds like parainfluenza. Gwen came down with it, I've come down with it, and Geoffrey did. It can last a week or two. Gwen estimates it's hit about a quarter of the population of Montreal.

Parainfluenza? I've never heard of that. It sounds like a variation of the flu. That could well be what I have. I've never been clear the the differences in symptoms between a cold and the flu.
