swestrupI am, somewhat reluctantly, awake. My getting up in the mornings didn't last for more than a couple mornings before I had a night when I couldn't sleep until 6:00 am. So now my body want to sleep in until 4:00 pm every day, but I'm not letting it. Instead I've been setting my alarm for noon or 1:00pm and dragging my body out of bed.
Having an alarm wake me up makes it more likely for me to be able to remember my dreams. Not that that is always such a good thing. This morning's dream was about me designing a new and improved package manager for Linux. Unlike certain geniuses who wake up with wonderful ideas or designs in their heads, all I'll say about my dream design is that it would truly suck if someone were dumb enough to try to implement it.
The day before however, I had an absolutely wonderful dream which I am letting fade from memory because it contained completely unacceptable content on a number of different axes. azrhey once told me that she hopes there never exists such a thing as a dream scanner because she doesn't want anyone to know what goes on in her head at night. Well, I've now had one of those dreams.
