One of the features of the proposed New Web Order that
sps and I have been going on about for some time, is that it would make the assumption that everyone is cognitively disabled in some way or, to put it another way, has a preferred style for having information presented to them. We proposed that an NWO web client should continually monitor its user and use the information gained to drive is rendering decisions.
Now, it seems, some other folks have started working on this idea. They haven't integrated the testing into the client, but instead have specific tests they use to determine what difficulties, if any, a user might have with hand-eye coordination or vision. Its a good first step, but I'd like to see it go much further.
