No, its nothing serious. Its just that I've been so sick that I can't really concentrate on getting anything done. Even installing software on my system is proving too arduous for me without long breaks.

So, I downloaded the entire run of Total Drama Island, and I'm watching the episodes in succession. So far, so good.

Oh, that reminds me. I have this entire bunch of really cheesy yule-time movies and things that I've been thinking I should watch all together at once in a yule movie marathon. It includes the Muppet Christmas special, the Star Wars Christmas special, the two parts of Hogfather, Bernie and the Genie, and probably some others I've forgotten.

I wonder if a general bad-christmas movie marathon could be held, or something?  I wanted to do it last year, but events intervened. Hopefully this year will be different.

They celebrate a Wookiee holiday called "Life Day". It wasn't a Christmas special, it was a holiday special in the most general sense, and aired in the summer months. The plotline was about Chewbacca trying to get home for Life Day. Princess Leia sang. If I recall correctly, some and perhaps all of it is on YouTube.

I watched some of the clips and...
I was weirded out, shocked and amused all at the same time.

And THEN I saw a video of Chewbacca singing the blues. WTH was that? LOL

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians! [personal profile] patgund also gave me a Mexican movie called "Santa Claus" in which Santa battles a devil. He's assisted by Merlin the wizard, toys are made by child volunteers from around the world and the sleigh is pulled by robotic reindeer.
