I've just learned that my contract here in California is not going to get renewed. It ends on the 10th, so its looking like I shall be back home in Montreal for my birthday.

Yeah, kinda conflicted about the whole thing. The money was good, but I haven't really been enjoying myself since they eliminated my original job a few weeks ago.

Ah, that was fast. Well, I'm glad we got to meet up at least the once...I'll be in SJ again on the 8th for a conference, but I imagine you'll be pretty busy at that point.
