Someone left the Drain Open in the Universe.

700 superclusters of galaxies are all being pulled in the same direction by some unknown force. No one has any idea what that force might be, but dark energy and dark matter have both already been ruled out. The best guess is that something really, really big that sits outside the observable universe is sucking everything its way.

If it has noticeable effects, it's not outside the observable universe.

Well, true. I suppose one would say the cause of the force is believed to be outside the directly observable universe. In any case, I find it interesting.
