Panic Levels Decreasing.

It seems I have weathered the first minor political storm at work and have come out okay. Not to say that certain unpleasant issues might not return at some point, but today went much, MUCH better than I had expected. A meeting I had been dreading turned out to be a positive thing, and my next task is looking more interesting than the last one was.

So, for now, tentative optimism is the rule.

I hate "work" politics. I long for the olden days of when one could just do their work and that was "enough".
