Feeling Good.

Had a wonderful send-off party last night. We were at the Old Dublin from shortly after 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm when they started playing loud music and the 7 of us that were left decided to head for azrhey's terrace to finish the evening. It was a beautiful night to sit on a terrace drinking wine and chatting. I think things finally ended around midnight.

I got to bed around 3:00 am as I needed to sober up enough to book my hotel room before bed, and I ended up watching the latest episode of Eureka before passing out.

Now I is awake again and feeling only vaguely hangovery. Don't have many plans for today. The big one is to take the time to make sure all my papers are together and to pack everything I'll be taking. So, not much of a rush.

You know, even with the send-off party and everything, this is STILL feeling completely surreal. Hard to imagine that on Monday I'll be showing up to work on a major contract in Silicon Valley.

Ah, that's why I missed you guys. For reference, the band wasn't playing when I showed up a bit after 11, but they must have just been in between sets.

I missed them too... showed up at 10:30 and no one was there... good to know I wasn't halucinating or blind! :( lol.

Sorry about that. I had wanted to stay longer in case any stragglers showed up, but it had gotten impossible to talk in there, and folks had pretty much decided to leave rather than endure it.
