... but lately it seems that far less spam has been showing up in my GMAIL spam filter. I'm still getting the same amount of spam through the filters as ever though. I wonder what that means?

It means the Vikings are getting better at eating the spam before it gets to you but not once it's past the GMail firewall.

... that GMAIL is now the source of half the porn bots that register on the website I run? Thus, it is likely to be the source of all that lovely spam - straight through the filters and into your in-box...
