Quantum Explanations.
Apr. 18th, 2008 10:26 amI thought I would point out that overcoming bias is currently running a series of articles on Quantum Mechanics for the layman. They don't expect you to understand complicated math, but they do expect you to throw away many preconceived notions as what particles are, so its not exactly for the dumb layman. Still, I've been finding it a fascinating read, and it has clarified some of my thinking on these same issues.

If that is too violent an image, imagine leading someone by the nose through each of the possible off-shoots of the desired path just to show that: "No you can't hold onto those beliefs anymore."
Don't forget, none of us is representative of the "Layman", certainly not an average one.
