Recent research (some of it done here in Montreal) shows that most kids learn to lie from their parents. Sometimes by imitation, and sometimes because of the sorts of positions parents put their children in.

Wow, really interesting article. Once again we are surprised at the sophistication of thought in children and teens.

Useful survival skills passed to the younger generation. Not a bad idea.

No, what? Wait...

I'm guessing that's why my genetic inheritor sucks at it. That, or she has far far surpassed my abilities to detect it. But with my education and work environment, my detection is pretty good. So, the former.
