taxlady's fever peaked today and we decided we really did have to get her to a medical clinic, as its been getting harder and harder to keep her fever down. Thanks to hendrikboom who drove out from his place to give us a lift to the clinic, we managed to get her to the Brunswick Medical Center without too much trouble. Then we had to wait roughly 4 hours to be seen by a doctor, then to have tests done, and then to be seen by a doctor again.
In the end it looks liketaxlady has a bladder infection and a round of strong antibiotics should do the trick. So, now we're back home, prescriptions filled, and are hoping that she'll soon be back on her feet.
