Heard back from a doctor. It seems our doctor is out of town on vacation, but a colleague at the same clinic answered the call. They said to keep doing what we're doing and if Linda's temp goes over 40 and what we're doing to bring it back under stops working, we should rush her to the nearest medical facility.

Otherwise, drink plenty of fluids, get lots of rest, etc, as there isn't much else they can do for her. This is pretty much as we figured, but its good to have confirmation.

Bear in mind that it's a twenty-minute drive from my place in the best of times, that it gets worse during rush hour, and that in heavy snowfall I may be immobilized until I shovel. That said, I'll be happy to help. Even if I have to shovel.
