... I want donuts for breakfast.

I just don't want to walk the dozen blocks to the nearest Tim Hortons to get some. (Okay, so its really only 5 blocks, but they're LONG blocks). It doesn't help that the sidewalks haven't been cleared and its -17 C  (1 F for the yanks) out there and I've been sick.

All in all, it just doesn't look like its gonna happen.  If the Dunkin Donuts that used to operate just a block away was still going (instead of being a Starbucks), I'd go for it.

It's too bad nobody delivers donuts.

As long as we're confessing secrets... I have been dying to make donuts, as I find I am usually sorry I eat any of the commercial ones because they are so dissapointing.

They are not hard to make, but they involve frying, not one of my favorite methods of cooking.

I grew up in a family of eight and both my mother and father were professional bakers...so yeah, I know what you mean!

You have a Starbucks a block away from you? Want to swap houses? ;)

I love donuts but rarely have them these days. They're the best when they're fresh.
