azrhey and pphaneuf not being able to attend due to a minor medical emergency, but I am sure we will have many more opportunities to see them during the holiday season.
kalkuly is still here from last night, and it was a joy to wake up to the sound of her lilting laughter this morning afternoon, although the logistics of it confuse me. She and taxlady were gabbing and laughing when I went to bed, and were doing the same when I woke up. I would normally assume they just hadn't slept, but I vaguely recall when taxlady came to bed last night.
My plan for the day is to take things fairly easily, while cycling all of the dirty dishes, cutlery and etc through the dishwasher and putting them away. It will probably take 5 or 6 loads, and so I shall most likely be at it all day. Still, its not an onerous duty. Mostly I just wait while the machine works. Certainly its much, much nicer than having to do all the washing up by hand.
In other news, I seem to have re-injured my elbow that I hurt during the summer. Its been weak ever since and I appear to have re-aggravated it while moving furniture so I can mop. I guess I'll just have to seem my doctor early in the new year, to see what she has to say about it, as I don't want this to be a perennial problem.
