Seasonal Things.

 This snowfall has started my mind thinking about lots of seasonal things I enjoy. Many of them, of course, are food:

• Gløgg
• Trifle
• Danish Butter Cookies
• Tourtiere
• Mandarin Oranges
• Mixed Nuts

Hmm. Maybe I should go have breakfast?

Ahhh gløgg (or as I know it, glühwein)... good stuff. That reminds me that I'll have about 30 bottles of wine ready just before Christmas... :)

Don't forget mincemeat pie. Add the hard sauce and you have a slice of heaven.

I've never been a big fan of mincemeat. Nor hard sauce, for that matter.

Whenever Mom made mincemeat tarts, I always convinced her to do a bunch of apple tarts as well. Yum!
