_sps_ has a theory in which Monkeys May Be Able To Teleport By Spontaneously Shooting Out Of Their Own Butts. (The MMBATTBSSOOTOB Theory).
I'm am now in a position to dispute this theory. Having spent the last week with my treacherous body attempting to spontaneously shoot itself out of various random orifices, I've come to the conclusion that should a monkey ever be so unlucky as to succeed at this form of travel, it would be psychologically incapable of repeating the feat, even upon pain of death.
On the brighter side, I actually felt slightly better today. My coughing fits are down to one every half-hour or so, rather than every 10 minutes, and my sinuses have stopped playing water works. Now if only my voice would come back, I would say I was on the mend.
