Groggy Man.

I'm just totally groggy right now. I made the mistake of taking a nap around 9:00 am (I got up at 5:30 am this morning) because I suddenly felt tired. Now, naps typically make me feel worse right not better, but I've been trying to see if practice will improve that. So far, not.
I told
taxlady to nudge me at 10:30 as I've read that a nap should be either less than 20 minutes or more than 90 if you don't want to be woken in the middle of a sleep cycle. Well, I didn't really sleep for those ninety minutes. I just sort of dozed. It wasn't until I was told to get up that I fell asleep. I had strange but pleasant dreams about trying to get an old friend's baby-pictures back from
shreddy who had stolen them and was determined to guard them against all comers.
So 2 1/2 hours later, I woke up, feeling VERY groggy. I'm now drinking caffeinated coffee which I didn't do this morning, as I felt quite wide awake when I woke up the first time. No knowing what this nap has done to my sleep/wake schedule either, but I'm hoping it won't have disrupted things too much, as I want to get up tomorrow morning in order to get to
kyotto's birthday brunch thingy.
Other than that, its quiet here -- too quiet. I really should get some work done on the WorldCon website, but so far today I've yet to get sufficiently awake that I feel competent to tackle the next part of the job.
