Just woke up from a very strange and lovely dream involving pagan wedding-night fertility rites. It was particularly interesting in that I was someone living in the Middle East several thousand years ago, and had just given up my own religion in order to take a pagan wife. I was the stranger in town, as I was from as far away as the next town over. There were even language variations between the two towns. There were words I was used to pronouncing with a 't' sound that they said with a 'g' sound in my new village. While discussing the differences with the folks, and how I was sometimes finding it difficult to understand people, It was quite clear that I was speaking some sort of semitic language. Whatever it was, it certainly wasn't English.
