Sometime during Austin's party I found myself thinking: So, why is it that its the really geeky women that I find the most attractive... or is that a dumb question?

Might it be because geeky people are generally more interested in personalities than in status symbols?
To me that's always been an attractive character trait.

I've always wondered why the rest of the world is attracted to idiots. I understand initial physical attractiveness, but for me, it becomes irrelevant is the woman turns out to be stupid. It really puzzles me why so many seem to *prefer* stupid women.

You can consider that seconded, fourthed, fifthed and thirded. And smart women are on average prettier, too - if you're not looking at still pictures. I think it has to do with having the signal processing capacity to work a face ;).

If that's the case, what do you suppose the rise of still images will do to the gene pool?

It depends a lot on if they're breedable.
