Expanded Pet food Recall.

The pet food recall has been extended to also include some recently-discovered contaminated rice, as well as the already-known contaminated wheat. A full and now updated list of the recalled pet foods can be found here. Luckily for us (and our cats), Purina is still not on the list.

I noticed that President's Choice IS on the list, but it's really hard to match the description in that list with what it says on the package. Sicne Diva's already eaten a quarter of a bag without any apparent ill effects, I think I'm not going to worry about it.

Whiskas doesn't seem to be on there either, but I had some old pouches of iams and eukanuba, which were dated before the dates the fda mentions, but I'm not going to risk it.
